As a key member of the Data Analytics team, the Business Strategy Analyst will drive insights and process improvement efforts across the Company’s multi-unit retail store and online network. The problem set of issues will range from people/unit/product performance to technology and human process improvements. You will lead the effort to determine the most efficient ways to best use people, technology, information, and data to help the Company continually improve its store operating performance across all metrics, including financial results, customer experience, and employee satisfaction. This position will report to the Business Analytics Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct productivity and efficiency-related analyses in the Company’s multi-unit retail store and online network
  • Evaluate and regularly improve key performance indicators (KPI’s) based on current performance trends
  • Evaluate and define improvement opportunities across the stores’ various operational components (e.g., cash usage, product and customer mix, employee performance, overall financial performance, Call Center Metrics)
  • Work with large amounts of data, reconciling data between multiple data sources and systems, and independently execute data analysis and interpret/present results
  • Aid in the creation of business cases and presentations for senior leadership
  • Work with retail operations leaders to determine data-related requirements, and then design/execute/analyze those datasets to form conclusions
  • Work with Call Center teams to design/execute/analyze strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Analytics, App Dev, and IT teams
  • Build and maintain new and current ETL/Software solutions
  • Dialer and Telco administration of campaigns and users

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience as an analyst in consumer finance, banking or related industry
  • Power Excel user and experience with SQL, query-building and analysis
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar agile management tools
  • Experience with Five9 or dialer technology is a plus.
  • Some experience of OOP using .Net and/or Javascript and libraries.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical/problem-solving skills

  • Resourceful--eager to learn and grow through continuing education
  • Customer-service oriented with internal/external customers
