Advance Financial is seeking an energetic full-time Call Center Collection Agent.

Our Call Center Collection Agents are responsible for driving revenue by making contact with customers and check makers in order to collect funds from returned checks. This position requires an agent to be on a preview or predictive dialer at times and locate customers that need to be skip traced.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Obtain client information by answering telephone calls and verifying information from customers for collection purposes
      • Maintain an up-to-date file on all return checks
      • Inform customers by explaining procedures; answering questions; providing information about returned checks.
      • Contacting Makers / Payees of returned checks and obtaining repayment of lost revenue
      • Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines
      • Work returned checks by calling the check casher and/or the check issuer
      • Perform skip tracing to determine better contact information for the responsible parties
      • Place and monitor Maker / Payee holds based on individual check returns
      • Adhere to all state and federal collections laws including the FDCPA and TCPA

      Qualifications

      • Basic data entry skills with an attention to detail
      • Ability to work independently
      • Understand and meet the demands of a customer-focused call center environment
      • Have superb written and verbal communication skills
      • Be dedicated to the work ethic and employment philosophy of an at-will employer
      • Be willing to work in an environment where performance will be measured and judged

      Experience

      • High School Graduate or equivalent (some higher education preferred)
      • 2+ years of experience in a service-related field (call center preferred)
      • Excellent in-person and over-the-phone communication skills
      • Collections experience preferred
      • Solid knowledge of underwriting guidelines and statutes
